Malgrado il suo nome figuri tra i credits del brano, il batterista Dave Grohl ha rivelato: "Non sono io a suonare la batteria nel pezzo 'I Can't Make It Another Day'."

Il rocker dei "Foo Fighters" ha spiegato: "Lenny Kravitz, (che incontrai solo una volta), mi contattò per chiedermi se volessi suonare la batteria su una traccia. Risposi: "Certo", suonai la batteria e non ebbi più loro notizie. Sul libretto del CD sta scritto 'Michael Jackson featuring Lenny Kravtiz and Dave Grohl' ma, in realtà, non hanno utilizzato nessuna delle mie registrazioni. Non è una bella cosa."
